The open cellar day in Valais is a not-to-be-missed event on Ascension Day. From Vouvry to Naters, 230 wine cellars will be taking part. A wide variety of terroirs and grape varieties, a vast territory with breathtaking landscapes, numerous tasting opportunities in authentic locations...
The range of open cellars in the Valais is well worth a visit, and over several days! Many activities have been developed around the event in the wine-producing villages, such as the lightning tours of the Wine Museum in Salgesch.
Soft mobility solutions are being organised locally (tourist train, shuttle buses), and all SBB trains are being offered with reduced-price tickets from Brig to St-Gingolph during the event.
