About the winery
Gregor Kuonen Caveau in Salgesch was founded in 1979. With much passion and extremely high standards of quality, their winery has established itself over the past four decades as a first-class name in the Swiss wine industry. Numerous awards and over 300 gold medal winners at national and international wine competitions decorate their roll of honour.
Their love of the vine forms the basis of their fine wines. The southern slopes around Salgesch provide their estate with perfect soil conditions and over 300 days of sunshine a year. Using grapes harvested with passion, as well as many years of experience and a lot of patience, they produce over 60 select wines. They won’t settle for any less than the best: quality wines to accompany wine lovers in their happiest moments.
In 2016, Patrick Revey took over from Charles Kuonen and now runs the winery with founding partner François Kuonen. In her role as oenologist, Larissa Kuonen, François Kuonen’s daughter, is jointly responsible for the quality of their premium wines.
